When it comes to my blog, I give full access. I caught up with All-Star guard Jameer Nelson before Orlando's big game against Cleveland. Here's the highlights of my interview:
Me: With all the talk of Kobe vs LeBron, Kobe vs LeBron, when you guys are playing the Nuggets in the Finals maybe Kobe can play LeBron 1 on 1 at halftime. Whats your take on that?
JN: I mean... at the end of the day everyone has to lace them up and play the game. One thing is, I know that we're good enough to beat Cleveland. We're working towards that. One thing we have to do is block out all the media and all the expectations for the other teams that everybody else has.
Me: How are you looking as far as your recovery?
JN: Everything is good. I'm looking forward to getting back out there next season, preseason, coming back this summer and trying to get my workouts in. I'm really shooting for the preseason.
Me: Lakers or Nuggets?
JN: No prediction. I just predict that we will be in the Finals. No matter who it is, I know that we'll match up fine with them. We'll do a great job, and win the championship.
Me: Wow... Well thanks for talking to me and good luck tonight, and with your recovery.
JN: Thank you, I appreciate it.
(then we did that cool handshake thing)
