That's what the going rate is for a quarterback who goes 5-7 his best season in college and finishes 11th out of 12th in completion percentage. 36 million smackers. I would say I'm going to raise my future son to be a big awful quarterback, but I've already made plans to raise him to be a big awful major league pitcher (see: CC Sabathia $161 million.) Anyway, that's why he's going to start. You can't give someone that much money and have him sit. I mean... you can if the QB in front of him is better. But come ooooooon... Byron Leftwich & Luke McCown??? Poo + poo= poo poo platter. That's what this season will be; one huge dump. They can't even sell out training camp. Training camp is free to the public!!! You can get up close to the players! Take pictures, get autographs, share steroids! In the past those things were always packed but not in the year of the poop. That's pretty much the motto for this season. This organization is going to feed you the poo poo platter this season, we may as well profit from it.
