FREE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FREE MONEY. THE MOVEMENT IS COMPLETE.

Well it only took the Bucs 11 games to get their 10th loss. What an awful embarrassment to the entire organization and its fans. Instead of sitting back and watching this horrible, awful, debacle of a season, I decided to cash in. A lot of time & research went into the Free Money Movement and now it has all paid off. I would like to thank everyone that joined and participated. For those that said, "it's not a sure thing." "They don't look that bad." and my personal favorite, "They're not as bad as you say they are!" I would like to remind all of you that they're

1-10!!! Thanks again to everyone for you support. See you in Las Vegas.

1-7

Well it finally happened. The Bucs pulled a miraculous victory out of their asses. It took a few bad calls, some bad passes by Aaron Rodgers, and a lot of luck. Josh Freeman got his first NFL start and his first NFL win and looked much better than expected. He still threw a pick, had a fumble, forgot what down it was, and slid short of a first down. Even with all that he still looked good and got the big win. The orange creamsicle jerseys looked UGLY as sin. Raheem the dream Morris got his first victory, and the Bucs won for the first time since last November. As far as Free Money goes, the Bucs would have to win 6 out of their next 8 games in order for the Movement to come to a crashing stop. That will be hard to do considering they have New Orleans twice, Atlanta twice, go into Carolina, Seattle, and Miami and play the Jets in Tampa. In other words the Movement continues. For now... congratulations to the Bucs. Congrats to Josh Freeman and Raheem Morris. You're still the worst team in the NFL, with the worst coach in the NFL, and one of the worst QB's in the NFL. For all u fans who think Josh Freeman is the answer; just remember, Ryan Leaf started his career 2-0.

BUCS LOSE TO NEW ENGLAND IN OLD ENGLAND!!! 0 WINS, 7 LOSSES!!!

WOW the Bucs look awful. They flew all the way to England and got their asses handed to them 35-7 and it wasn't even that close. Josh Johnson was officially benched after not 1, not 2 but 3 interceptions... THEN head coach Raheem Morris got a phone call on the sideline and was told he better put in rookie Josh Freeman or else... Meanwhile the Patriots looked great. Playing the Bucs will do that for you. The Bucs looked horrible. It was no contest. The packed crowd at Wembley probably wondered, "who are these losers playing the Patriots?" Clayton and Winslow had more drops. Derrick Ward couldn't get going. The defense looked almost as bad allowing Tom Brady and company to pick them apart for over 400 yards of offense. The losses keep piling up for Tampa Bay. The Josh Freeman era has begun. The Free Money Movement continues, with only 3 losses needed in the remaining 9 games. Looking at the schedule, it's hard to find one win out of the next 9 games. Up next is Green Bay in 2 weeks, where the Bucs will play in their old construction orange jerseys, reminiscent of the old days when they went winless for a full season. You couldn't write this any better!!!!!

BUCS LOSE AGAIN! DROP 6TH IN A ROW!

With the score 21-21 in the 4th quarter in front of dozens of fans in the newly emptied Raymond James Stadium, it looked as though the Bucs may get their first win of the season..................... until Carolina got the ball. They ran 13 straight running plays en route to an easy touchdown to go ahead 28-21 and seal the fate of the awful Pewter Pirates. Tampa Bay QB Josh Johnson barely threw for over 100 yards, while throwing an interception and fumbling 5 times. That is not a typo. He fumbled FIVE freakin times! That's 6 games, and 6 losses. The good news is they have to fly AAAALLLLLL the way to London freakin England and play the New England Patriots who are fresh off a 59-0 ass-kicking of the Tennessee Titans. Thats gonna be a looong plane ride there and an even longer one on the way home when they will be 0-7. That's zero dash seven. UNBELE!!! Once again the Bucs have lost. Once again the Free Money Movement continues. Once again we move closer to our victory.

HEADLINE: BUCS GET ASSES KICKED BY EAGLES! THIS JUST IN: NEW QUARTERBACK SUCKS!

YEEEESSSSS. The defense is awful. The kicker can't even kick. They brought in a new QB and he sucks just as bad as the old one. Week after week they look worse and worse. Week 5 was no different. They made McNabb look like the greatest quarterback of all time. The offense had over 7 drops and a plethora of turnovers. The team is now 0-5. That's zero dash five. The Free Money Movement continues. I just wish more of you would have joined the movement.

HEADLINE: BUCS TAKE GIANT DUMP ON FIELD!!! (no pun intended)

What a monumental stink bomb they dropped last Sunday against the Giants. They got shut out 24-0 at HOME! They didn't get a first down until the 3rd quarter! They had 80 yards of total offense, almost all of which they got on the final drive in garbage time. They were called the worst team in the NFL during halftime by Jimmy Johnson. They were called the worst team in the NFL after the game by... EVERYBODY!!! THEY SUCK!!! HAHAHHAHAA! YEESSSS!!! The Free Money Movement really couldn't be going much better. Today they announced that last year's 4th string QB Josh Johnson will be the starter as they travel to Washington and Philly in consecutive weeks. Anyone else smell 0-5??? No? 0-6? Still no good? 0-7? DING DING DING! They have the worst defense in the league as well as the worst offense in the league as well as the worst QB's in the league as well as the worst coach in the league. And come January we will cash in.

0-2

The Bucs are now 0-2 heading into a very tough game against the G men this Sunday in Tampa. They looked AWFUL against Buffalo and the Giants looked pretty good against Dallas. I'm gonna say that the Giants will cover the 7 point spread they have been given on the road. As for the Bucs; the offense looks bad, the defense looks worse and we are on our way to 0 dash 3. They just lost starting safety Jermaine Phillips for the season, and Leftwich is one more SACK away from the Josh Johnson/Freeman era from beginning. Shaun said it best... "we should have NO money left in the bank right now. It should all be riding on these losers." Yes it should.

0-1

The Bucs are 0-1 as they head into a hostile Buffalo environment for a 4pm kickoff this Sunday. The Bills looked pretty damn good against New England and I would NOT be surprised in the least if the Bucs got their asses kicked. They will be without their starting center Jeff Faine, starting safety Tanard Jackson, and most likely without starting franchise player Antonio Bryant. The no huddle offense will be in full effect for Buffalo. The turnovers will be in full effect for the Bucs offense. In the end, they will be 0-2. And the Free Money Movement will continue.

Only one week left

This is the last week in which you can officially join the movement. Here's the latest:

Luke McCown was traded for a draft pick. That means you have Byron Leftwich as your starting quarterback and rookie Josh Freeman is your backup. FYI, Freeman's preseason stats are 22-49 44% 1 TD 3 INTs. They cut beloved and VERY accurate kicker Matt Bryant in favor of Mike Nugent (4-7 FG in preseason, kickoffs landing on the 10 yd line, missed all of last year with bad knee.) They fired their offensive coordinator just a week before the season starts. AND they open up with Dallas at home and are still heavy underdogs.

By the way, the line has already shifted from 6.5 wins to 5.5!!!! Good thing we jumped on it early. We're gonna be swimming in money like Scrooge McDuck!

They just keep getting worse...

"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers name QB Byron Leftwich the starter for week 1 against Dallas." This was the headline. The reaction from all of Tampa Bay was mixed. Either they thought he was the decent option, thought McCown was less terrible and should have gotten the nod, or that since they're going to suck anyways just put in rookie Josh Freeman. Any way you look at it, NO ONE said, "yeeessssss, Leftwich is the starter! Hell yeah! High five! We're gonna kick ass!" They are not favored in any of their first 7 games, and may not be favored in a game all season. They're about to cut another fan favorite in kicker Matt Bryant (who lost his infant son last season) for kicker Mike Nugent who missed all of last season with an injury and has been AWFUL in the preseason going 4-7 on kicks with 0.00 touchbacks.

This is why we started the Free Money Movement. This organization is in the TANK! TOILET BOWL! SHITTER! I'll just leave you with the words of a former Buccaneer:

“It’s a team that’s not going to be very good. It’s an uphill battle for a young head coach…Will the team respond to him in a tough situation? With that being said, it’s a team that’s going to probably finish last in the division." -Keyshawn Johnson

Oh yeah!

Did anyone else catch the first play of the Bucs/Jags game the other night? Garrard goes play action, then fires a 74 yard bomb to Troy Williamson while Ronde Barber & Sabby Piscatelli trot behind him arguing with each other the whole way. Touchdown. 7-0 Jags against the Bucs FIRST UNIT! THE STARTERS! They looked like crap. The best part is, because they technically did win the fake game, all of the proud Buc fans are starting to mutter things like, "hmmm they're not so bad." "Maybe this defense is gonna be OK..." "This Freeman kid really showed some good poise out there." The starters got their asses kicked 14-3 til they got yanked. Then the game dragged on scrubs v. scrubs and ended when Jacksonville opted to go for 2 and the win but fell short. As for all of us in the Free Money Movement, things just keep getting better and better. Raheem reneged on his decision to name a starter by now simply stating that, "deadlines are made to be broken." Tell that to one of your players the next time he misses curfew, coach. Angelo Crowell (the linebacker whom they signed to replace Derrick Brooks despite missing most of the last 2 seasons with injuries) was put on injured reserve today at the small price of $2 million bucks. EEEEEEEEXCELLEEEEENT.

So lets recap the first 2 weeks of the preseason: Punter Josh Bidwell out for the year. LB Angelo Crowell done for the year. Antonio Bryant tears his MCL. Tanard Jackson is suspended 4 games for drugs. Aqib Talib gets arrested for beating up a cab driver and will be suspended soon. Head coach still can't pick a starting quarterback BECAUSE ALL THREE OF THEM SUCK! This is why profootballtalk.com just picked the Bucs 29th out of 32 teams in their NFL Power Rankings. This is why they are a -200 bet on the under of 6.5 wins. This is why they can't sell tickets and their games are blacked out. This is why we call it Free Money. Join the Movement.

and...

...Aqib Talib got arrested!!! Raheem's secondary is out of control! He assaulted a cab driver and then resisted arrest; allegedly. The cab driver says he was driving 3 Buccaneers to their hotel from a club. They were driving along when all of a sudden Aqib Talib just started punching him in the back of the head. He says they weren't even talking and it was completely unprovoked. The cab driver said he was getting rammed in the back of the head while driving on the interstate! He had no idea they were professional football players. He just thought he was being robbed by a bunch of black guys. Then when the cops came, Talib would not get out of the cab. In fact it took 4 of them to get him out of there. What an insane nutbar.

All this means is that the team is completely out of control, another starter is gonna be suspended and they're gonna suck suck suck. The Free Money Movement continues to build strength.

YEEEESSSSSSSSS...

Just when I thought we made a GOOD bet in Las Vegas, I am hit with four pieces of news that make me realize we made a GREAT bet out there.

1. Safety Tenard "the Retard" Jackson suspended for the first 4 games of the regular season for drug use. This wouldn't be a big deal if he weren't an AWESOME safety! He's started every single game for two straight years! He's their second best player on defense! One of the hardest hitters around!!! HAHAHAHAH MORON!!! SCHMUCK! A$$HOLE!

2. Punter Josh Bidwell is OUT FOR THE SEASON with a bad hip. Once again, not a big deal if he weren't an AWESOME punter! This team has very few bright spots and Bidwell & Jackson were two of them! Anyway he's been replaced by someone who did not play football last season.

3. Bucs GM Mark Dumbass gave out FREE tickets to fans attending training camp today. Don't think for a second that he's just that nice of a guy or that the Bucs are that giving of an organization. It is because they need to fill the seats somehow, and literally handing fans free tickets was the only way.

4. The moneyline on our bet has shifted from -155 to -200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is by FAR the woooooooooorst moneyline in Vegas when it comes to betting NFL win totals! The next closest one is the Lions. Thats right, the team that went 0-16 last season has a win total of 5 games and the moneyline is -160. The Bucs win total is 6.5 at -200.

PICK 6!!!

"See coach... what had happened was......" -Josh Freeman after throwing an interception for a touchdown in his Free Money debut.
Even though it's the preseason and NOTHING counts. The Bucs sure did look awful against the Titans during week 1 of fake football. McCown looked bad, Leftwich looked horrible but better than McCown, and then........... there he was. Standing 6 ft 6, 248 pounds and shaking like a virgin on prom night; Josh Freeman entered the game. Hand off, hand off, almost pick. Hand off, bad pass, bad pass. Another hand off and then it came. Disgusting slow pass to the right... intercepted at the 40yd line, ran back for a pick 6. No flags. No penalties and no stupid challenges. Just stupid passes and stupid draft picks, and a stupid franchise.

THE BETS ARE IN!

That's right baby! Just got back from sunny (and hot as hell) Las Vegas. The Free Money Movement has officially begun. It is HERE. It is NOW. For those of you who have joined the Movement; welcome to Free Money. Now you get to sit back, relax, and watch the Bucs get the sh!t kicked out of them. If we are subjected to watch such an awful debacle then we may as well profit from it. And profit from it we shall. Congratulations to all of us.

As for the rest of you wastes... what the hell is wrong with you?! These guys suck. And will continue to suck all season. There is still time. Don't waste away. If you do decided to sit on your asses and do nothing then at least you can join us in January when we go to collect our Free Money. After laying over 10 geeeeeees we got mad comps. After all we moved the line ourselves. I mean... my comps have comps. Meanwhile the Bucs problems have problems. Antonio Bryant just announced he tore his MCL and will miss the remainder of the preseason. (Told ya it wasn't just a sore knee!) Luke McCLOWN opens the preseason as the starter bringing his impressive resume' and 9TD 10 INT outstanding career stats with him. Kellen Winslow and new head coach Raheem Morris have already gotten into it a few times in the presence of the media and as of right now, almost all the home games will be blacked out locally due to lack of ticket sales. There is NO positives for this team! They have NOTHING going for them. Other than they get to live in a sunny tropical paradise making buttloads of money with no state income tax. They're still going to go 4-12 if they overachieve.

That's why we call it Free Money. The Movement has begun.

Vegas baby...

VIVA LAS VEGAS!!! We're officially off to Las Vegas baby! The Bucs started training camp, still can't sell tickets, Josh Freeman is gonna start, and we are takin the under! Why will Josh Freeman start you ask? I'll give you 36 million reasons why.

$36,000,000.00

That's what the going rate is for a quarterback who goes 5-7 his best season in college and finishes 11th out of 12th in completion percentage. 36 million smackers. I would say I'm going to raise my future son to be a big awful quarterback, but I've already made plans to raise him to be a big awful major league pitcher (see: CC Sabathia $161 million.) Anyway, that's why he's going to start. You can't give someone that much money and have him sit. I mean... you can if the QB in front of him is better. But come ooooooon... Byron Leftwich & Luke McCown??? Poo + poo= poo poo platter. That's what this season will be; one huge dump. They can't even sell out training camp. Training camp is free to the public!!! You can get up close to the players! Take pictures, get autographs, share steroids! In the past those things were always packed but not in the year of the poop. That's pretty much the motto for this season. This organization is going to feed you the poo poo platter this season, we may as well profit from it.

Bucs preview from ESPN

Imagine if Michael Bush hadn't gone crazy.

In Week 17 last year, Jon Gruden had his Bucs one seemingly easy win -- at home against the hapless Raiders -- from making the playoffs. But Bush rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns, Oakland shocked the Buccaneers 31-24 with 17 straight fourth-quarter points, and the demolition in West Florida began. Gruden was canned, and new, inexperienced head coach Raheem Morris detonated the roster.

I'm tempted to say you can chalk 2009 up to a lost "transition" year before training camp even opens. There are more changes on this team from '08 than any other franchise, probably by double. The quarterback situation looks abysmal. The defense looks small and overmatched. Somehow receiver Michael Clayton, who hasn't exceeded 38 catches or 484 yards in any of the past three seasons, got a five-year, $24 million contract extension. A converted safety is starting at weakside linebacker. The team has more kickers than it does proven wideouts. The story of this training camp, then, will be how this many moving parts can possibly come together quickly enough to make a coherent NFL squad. The Bucs went 9-7 last year. That's going to seem like a sweet dream around November this season.

What to look for in camp
Key position battles: What's the old saying, when you have two starting quarterbacks, you actually have none? Well, what happens when you have no starting quarterbacks? Luke McCown, Byron Leftwich and rookie Josh Freeman will stage a camp competition, and you'll be forgiven if you just threw up in your mouth a little. McCown has a good arm and athletic ability, but is jumpy in the pocket and doesn't take enough chances downfield. Leftwich has a ponderous throwing motion ill-suited for the West Coast offense. And not only is Freeman a rookie, but he left Kansas State after his junior year, so it's awfully hard to imagine him being ready. It seems a fait accompli that Tampa will use musical quarterbacks this year.
Behind receivers Antonio Bryant and Clayton, there's so little proven talent that a seventh-round rookie from April's draft, Sammie Stroughter, is currently considered the favorite to win Tampa's No. 3 wideout gig. Stroughter was reportedly a starter at May minicamp, but has been battling hamstring injuries since. His competition for the gig is Maurice Stovall, Dexter Jackson and Brian Clark. Yeah, bleh.

On defense, you'll find nearly as many unsettled positions in camp as you do settled ones. Left defensive end (opposite budding star Gaines Adams) figures to be manned by either Jimmy Wilkerson, who had five sacks last year but has a total of six in his six-year career, or rookie Kyle Moore. Chris Hovan is still strong at one defensive tackle spot, but the Bucs are actually considering using all-world Chiefs bust Ryan Sims as a starter at the other spot; he'll battle with rookie Roy Miller in camp. New strongside linebacker Angelo Crowell has reportedly struggled with a knee injury that limited him last season in Buffalo, and he and Quincy Black will stage a position battle if Crowell can't get back to 100 percent. And last year's starting strong safety, Jermaine Phillips, is for some reason being moved to Derrick Brooks' old spot on the weak side, where he could wind up struggling and receiving competition from Geno Hayes. If Phillips winds up sliding back to safety, he'll have to battle with Sabby Piscitelli for the gig.
Oh, yeah, and the Bucs also plan on waging a kicker battle in camp. Matt Bryant really didn't do anything wrong last year, and in fact set a career high with 131 total points. But he's never had a big leg and struggles on kickoffs, so Tampa signed former Jets second-round pick Mike Nugent, he of the big-but-scattershot leg. One assumes that if Nugent can prove he's accurate enough, the team would prefer he win the job, considering he can be a longer-range weapon. But accuracy has been Nugent's problem throughout his career.
Fitting in: Fantasy owners will be most interested in the running back situation. Earnest Graham is coming off of surgery to repair torn ligaments in his ankle, but is expected to make a full recovery. Derrick Ward signed for starter-level money coming from the Giants, so he'll definitely be a big part of the Tampa offense, too. How these guys wind up sharing carries could determine a heck of a lot of fantasy fates this season. Heading into training camp, the buzz is that Ward will be given every chance to prove he deserves to be the featured player in this offense. But Graham's skills are awfully similar to Ward's, and it seems likely to me that whichever guy doesn't wind up carrying the load between the 20s is likely to be the goal-line back. So, to me, it seems that at worst, Graham winds up being a touchdown vulture.
Then there's also the question of mercurial Kellen Winslow, who finally wore out his welcome in Cleveland. New offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski promises to use Winslow a ton, and considering how thin the wide receiving depth chart is, that could come to pass. But K2 has also undergone at least one knee surgery every year of his pro career, and has a master's degree in alienating nearly everyone around him. The Bucs ditched Alex Smith this winter, but they made sure to keep Jerramy Stevens around, just in case Winslow gets hurt or talks his way off the roster or something.
On the line: It's a shame the rest of the roster is in flux and light on talent, because the offensive line isn't. Up the middle, this group is as solid as it gets in the NFL. Jeff Faine is still one of the league's best centers, Davin Joseph is an animal at right guard, and even if Arron Sears can't go to begin the season because of a serious concussion he suffered partway through last year, Jeremy Zuttah proved he's a capable replacement at left guard. And while the team jettisoned tackle Luke Petitgout after he failed a drug test this spring, they're still left with an above-average pair of starters on the outside: Donald Penn and Jeremy Trueblood. If the Bucs can get anything at all out of their passing game to distract opposing defenses, this unit could make big holes for Ward and Graham.
The bottom line
Oh, boy. It's already not a good idea to change this much of an NFL lineup and hope to be competitive right away. Add the fact that we're dealing with a rookie head coach and what has suddenly become one of the league's most talent-starved rosters, especially on defense, and this could be a truly ugly season. As in I'm not going to be shocked if Tampa's in line for the No. 1 pick in next April's draft. The quarterback situation will be resolved in camp, but there's really no good answer there, meaning that Antonio Bryant and Kellen Winslow, who will be drafted as fantasy starters, are almost sure to post inconsistent seasons. The most interesting thing to watch here will be the Ward/Graham split, because I really do like this O-line. But given the messy situations nearly everywhere else, it might be best to just stand back and let someone else invest in this carnage.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

July 11th. 7/11. What a great day to have a birthday. All I want for my birthday this year is a flight to beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. Quick flight there, quick investment on the Bucs under (6.5), quick flight home. That's all I want this year. No clothes, no toys, no cake. I'm fairly certain my birthday wish will come true.
