HEADLINE: BUCS TAKE GIANT DUMP ON FIELD!!! (no pun intended)

What a monumental stink bomb they dropped last Sunday against the Giants. They got shut out 24-0 at HOME! They didn't get a first down until the 3rd quarter! They had 80 yards of total offense, almost all of which they got on the final drive in garbage time. They were called the worst team in the NFL during halftime by Jimmy Johnson. They were called the worst team in the NFL after the game by... EVERYBODY!!! THEY SUCK!!! HAHAHHAHAA! YEESSSS!!! The Free Money Movement really couldn't be going much better. Today they announced that last year's 4th string QB Josh Johnson will be the starter as they travel to Washington and Philly in consecutive weeks. Anyone else smell 0-5??? No? 0-6? Still no good? 0-7? DING DING DING! They have the worst defense in the league as well as the worst offense in the league as well as the worst QB's in the league as well as the worst coach in the league. And come January we will cash in.

The Bucs are now 0-2 heading into a very tough game against the G men this Sunday in Tampa. They looked AWFUL against Buffalo and the Giants looked pretty good against Dallas. I'm gonna say that the Giants will cover the 7 point spread they have been given on the road. As for the Bucs; the offense looks bad, the defense looks worse and we are on our way to 0 dash 3. They just lost starting safety Jermaine Phillips for the season, and Leftwich is one more SACK away from the Josh Johnson/Freeman era from beginning. Shaun said it best... "we should have NO money left in the bank right now. It should all be riding on these losers." Yes it should.

The Bucs are 0-1 as they head into a hostile Buffalo environment for a 4pm kickoff this Sunday. The Bills looked pretty damn good against New England and I would NOT be surprised in the least if the Bucs got their asses kicked. They will be without their starting center Jeff Faine, starting safety Tanard Jackson, and most likely without starting franchise player Antonio Bryant. The no huddle offense will be in full effect for Buffalo. The turnovers will be in full effect for the Bucs offense. In the end, they will be 0-2. And the Free Money Movement will continue.

This is the last week in which you can officially join the movement. Here's the latest:

Luke McCown was traded for a draft pick. That means you have Byron Leftwich as your starting quarterback and rookie Josh Freeman is your backup. FYI, Freeman's preseason stats are 22-49 44% 1 TD 3 INTs. They cut beloved and VERY accurate kicker Matt Bryant in favor of Mike Nugent (4-7 FG in preseason, kickoffs landing on the 10 yd line, missed all of last year with bad knee.) They fired their offensive coordinator just a week before the season starts. AND they open up with Dallas at home and are still heavy underdogs.

By the way, the line has already shifted from 6.5 wins to 5.5!!!! Good thing we jumped on it early. We're gonna be swimming in money like Scrooge McDuck!

They just keep getting worse...

"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers name QB Byron Leftwich the starter for week 1 against Dallas." This was the headline. The reaction from all of Tampa Bay was mixed. Either they thought he was the decent option, thought McCown was less terrible and should have gotten the nod, or that since they're going to suck anyways just put in rookie Josh Freeman. Any way you look at it, NO ONE said, "yeeessssss, Leftwich is the starter! Hell yeah! High five! We're gonna kick ass!" They are not favored in any of their first 7 games, and may not be favored in a game all season. They're about to cut another fan favorite in kicker Matt Bryant (who lost his infant son last season) for kicker Mike Nugent who missed all of last season with an injury and has been AWFUL in the preseason going 4-7 on kicks with 0.00 touchbacks.
